This pedophile is a convicted felon, as a Canadian, it was an embarrassment to this country that we didn't arrest him, or at the very least, refuse him entry into the country during the recent G7 meetings. Its extremely unfortunate that this scum has served a good purpose, he's woke Canada up from its too comfortable former relationship with the the former United States of America, a country I'm now calling, the United States of Chaos, Pedophilia, and Corruption.
Like every Canadian I'm deeply offended by trump's needless economic attack on this country, and his threatening our sovereignty with this 51st state nonsense. Sadly Canada is in a position where, for the time being, we couldn't fight our way out of a wet paper bag. Should the country of Chaos, Pedophilia, and Corruption make its threats real, and invade this country, they could do it nearly unopposed. That's not to say that problems for them wouldn't develop, in the end they'd need a force of about 3 million men to hold this nation. That's about 1.5 million more service people than they can currently field.
The leader of the fascist party, the head pedophile lost a lot of money during the 1980s, his casino went bankrupt, and how that happens is, well you'd have to ask trump how he was that incompetent. In the event, he then snuggled up to Russia, and Russian money financed many of his schemes during the 1990s, and 2000s. This is when the Russians turned him.Back in 2014 Russia under Putin's orders invaded Ukraine, they expected an easy victory, expecting their asset in the Oval Office to cut weapons/funding to Ukraine, and indeed, the pedophile interfered, and Russia made some quick territorial gains. However they both miscalculated NATO's response, which was to step up to help train, arm, provide satellite intelligence, Russia is now tied up in an expensive war in terms of man power and equipment.
Canada too is contributing, and has made many public announcements of continuing support. Its estimated that Canadian sanctions imposed on Russia has cost them about, $450 Billion. That's no small chunk of change. Putin of course has threatened Canada with "Dire" consequences because of what we're doing to support an unfairly invaded ally. With the head pedophile's return to office, Canada is seeing part of whatever Putin may have in mind for Canada through the actions of their plant, Donald Trump. His imposing unnecessary and unfair tariffs on Canadian industry, and threatening our sovereignty.
The last time they actually did invade Canada was back in 1812, and they got their noses bloodied for doing so. Canada is bigger now, with more territory, a lot more people, they'll need help from Putin's Russia, which they won't get because Russia will be tied up with Ukraine, European NATO.
At the end of WWII, Canada's armed services numbered about 1 million, quite a feat considering our population was just 12 million. people. Canada finally paid for its efforts during WWII in 2006, our shameful disarmament helping that along. That said, I have never understood why successive Canadian governments of whatever party, have allowed our military to shrink to having 4 submarines, and only one that's seaworthy, 18 fighter aircraft to defend a country that's 6,000 kilometres from east to west and 4,600 kilometres north to south. An army that has 112 tanks, with only 4 that are operational, with a 25,000 man standing army.
I mean no disrespect to our serving members, but due to chronic underfunding, our military is a disgrace. Back in 2006 NATO members committed to a guideline of spending 2% of GDP on military spending, this was reaffirmed in 2014 as a hard commitment. Canada at no point met this commitment, and as of May this year, spent just 1.74% of GDP. At the last G7 summit held in western Canada this year, Canada's new Prime Minister Mark Carney blew past the 2% commitment that former PM Justin Trudeau swore this country would never meet, and committed to a new spending target of, 5% of GDP.
As of 2025, Canada’s GDP is estimated to be around CAD $2.7 trillion (Canadian dollars).
5% of $2.7 trillion:
